Olivebay is based in north London and is run by Chris Maton whose career in design and construction spans twenty years and includes presenting his own garden show on UK Style and guest appearances on GMTV and This Morning.
Chris’s love of plants began when training at Cambridge University Botanical Gardens and Writtle Horticulture College and has grown through the design of new and different planting schemes for his clients.
A horticultural lecturer for five years, Chris is also the author of two gardening books, Garden DIY Water Features and Garden DIY Structures. Chris co-designed forty different water features and garden structures featured in the books that were published in the UK, France, US and Australia.
Chris's garden designs have also featured in Elle Decoration, New Eden and The Guardian. Chris was awarded a prestigious Chelsea Gold medal for his work with Australia's Victoria State.
